Survey Camp

Field Training and Practical Surveying

Project Overview

This survey camp project involved two weeks of intensive fieldwork where survey planning, measurements, and mapping outputs were completed in real terrain conditions. The focus was on translating theoretical surveying concepts into practical, accurate workflows.

Tasks included topographic survey, route alignment work, and preparation of final drawings from field observations and instrument data.

Methodology

Instrument Handling: Total station, leveling tools, and basic control-point setup were practiced under field supervision.

Data Collection: Ground points, profiles, and reference benchmarks were measured and recorded systematically.

Post Processing: Field notes were checked, adjusted, and converted into usable plan outputs for reporting and design-level interpretation.
